Sales Account Executive

(Sales & Marketing Dept.)


The Sales Account Executive position is a role within our sales department and reports to our Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This role is responsible for building sales by expanding our existing clients' services while also prospecting new clients. This team member will participate in the entire sales cycle under the guidance of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing (sales plan, prospecting, field visits, proposals, price negotiations, closing and customer onboarding). Typical sales administrative tasks, include but are not limited to quoting forecasting, customer relationship management (CRM) software utilization and proposal development. This role will be based in our Midlothian, Virginia office and will require travel to clients and prospects. Our clients consist of theme parks, supermarkets, convenience stores, and quick service restaurants across the United States.



  • Generates active sales prospecting, cold calling and relationship development;
  • Cultivates long term and sustainable service relationships with clients continuously by staying engaged beyond day one and sales roll-outs to ensure fluidity of projects;
  • Interacts with various levels within client organizations, including management, buyers, end-users and others to ensure short- and long-term multi-function relationships with clients;
  • Identifies new sales opportunities and develops plans of action to acquire the business;
  • Coordinates closely with operational team and others within Threads Uniform Agency to execute service agreements and consistently provide exceptional customer experiences;
  • In conjunction with the VP of Sales and Marketing, develops sales proposals and quotes; creates and presents sales forecasts;
  • Utilizes CRM software for data collection, resources, and updates, including prospecting activities and sales forecasts;
  • Performs other sales or corporate functions as required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Seasoned sales professional (does not have to be in apparel/fashion or uniform industry), however, "relationship" sales experience is a MUST;
  • Flexibility in working with large (high demand) corporations with multiple locations;
  • Team oriented with the ability to work well independently as well;
  • Outstanding communication skills (listening, presenting, reporting, and writing);
  • Must be organized with strong multi-tasking abilities;
  • Proven ability to create, meet and/or exceed sales forecasts;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable utilizing software platforms.
