Customer Profile
The EG America HOPE Fund is an employee-driven program that provides incredible support to fellow co-workers facing financial hardship. Since its start, the company has donated over $30,000 to team members in need!
EG America wanted to offer custom softball jerseys for employee purchase to help generate money for their HOPE Fund.
Inspired by the HOPE Fund program, EG America's Facilities Warehouse Manager and the company's head softball coach, Michael Hutchison, had a brilliant thought. Why not use our custom softball uniforms to help generate money for the HOPE Fund? He proposed offering the jerseys for sale on their employee webstore. Then, $10 would be donated to the HOPE Fund for every purchase. With a game-winning idea in his mitt, Michael gave us a call.
Talking with Michael, we knew that the custom jerseys required unique and fun designs, creative sourcing, and seamless integration with their employee webstore. The Threads team was at the ready with jersey samples and unique cost-savings approaches to help Michael's big swing pay off.
Since it's inception the program has continued to grow annually. It has now progressed from selling only jerseys to offering ball caps, sweatshirts, pullovers, and t-shirts.
The Threads team also added a real-time funds counter to the webstore. This way, EG America can see the immediate impact of the purchases. Currently, the counter is sporting an all-time total of over $31,000.
It's just been incredible. Every year it gets bigger and bigger and I can't stop watching that ticker go up. It feels good."
