What Makes Us Different

Your uniforms are our first priority.

With the capabilities of an international corporation but the approach of a boutique firm, Threads Uniform Agency encompasses the best of both worlds. In an industry where quality and competitive pricing are expected, it’s our priority to fill in the gaps and provide unmatched service with responsiveness and flexibility. We’re proud to be able to offer robust programs to every client and exceed expectations every step of the way.

History

Grounded in our local roots and motivated by a desire to serve.

Before Threads Uniform Agency there was Ukrop’s Super Markets — a family-owned grocery chain recognized nationally for having the highest levels of service and product quality, and loved locally for being a grocer and employer who lived by the Golden Rule. Threads Uniform Agency emerged in the early ‘90s as a solution to a common problem in the grocery industry: low quality uniforms accompanied by poor service. Operating under Ukrop’s Super Markets’ customer-centric values, we have grown to outfit over 1,000,000 members of our nation’s workforce.

Social Responsibility

Our beliefs.

At Threads Uniform Agency, we take seriously the commitment to be socially responsible toward the communities we serve, and this principle serves as the foundation for our supply chain responsibility. We understand that in the countries where our goods are produced, manufacturing jobs are important to families and often mean the difference between going hungry and having food on the table. Moreover, it is our sincere belief that as buyers in these countries, we must help drive change and improvements in these communities. (Read a letter from our CEO)

To this end, Threads Uniform Agency requires all Suppliers to sign a commitment to our Supplier Code of Conduct as part of our partnership agreement.

Further, Threads Uniform Agency does not tolerate Supplier involvement with any form of human trafficking, slavery, or unsafe working conditions. Investigation into human trafficking and slavery allegations will be given immediate priority, and swift actions will be taken against Suppliers when evidence supports claims of wrongdoing.

Our Social and Labor Compliance Program reflects our goals of continuous improvement and sustainable remediation.
